Welcome To Triton Water Polo

Triton Competition teams are limited to 15 Gold and 15 Blue rostered athletes per age group at a time. There will not be a third Competition Team to protect the quality of player instruction and training unless there are enough resources to support this.

Team rosters will be locked during the Winter and Summer quarters. Once rosters are unlocked, if a spot is open, you will be notified and asked to come to try out 2 - 3 practices before making a final decision. Team selection is 100% at the discretion of our coaching staff.

Factors THAT DO go into the decision process are as follows: 

  • Commitment to attend a minimum of 4 practices per week and the ability to attend a minimum of 5 travel tournaments per year.
  • Athletic experience demonstrated in practices and scrimmages.
  • Coachability and chemistry with the coaching staff and teammates.

Factors that DO NOT go into the decision process are as follows:

  • Prior/Current Club Affiliation
  • Relationships with coaches such as past coaches, relatives, family friends, etc.
  • Previous playing experience
