Thank you for your interest in diabetes. The Maryland Department of Health (MDH), with other State partners, spent the past several months developing a draft Diabetes Action Plan. Our intention is to spark activity and enthusiasm to reduce the risk, consequences and cost of diabetes. We are excited to share this draft Diabetes Action Plan with all our partners, and we welcome your input on the completeness, feasibility and appropriateness of the action steps, as well as the usefulness of the data and background information.
The draft Plan will be posted for public comment for about 30 days, after which the comments received will be tied to a final Plan. Throughout the comment period, MDH will continue to refine the draft Plan and will indicate when and where new material appears. The Final Plan will be released before the end of the year.
The Diabetes Action Plan Feedback survey should take about 10-15 minutes. We are asking you to provide the following feedback on each section of the plan. Please include your contact information so we can reach out to during implementation of the plan.
