Summer Camp Lead Counselor Application

The lead counselors are the magic makers and the creators of fun for our campers!  But they are also our main sources of ensuring safety & enforcing camp rules, so it is an incredibly important role.

The ideal lead counselor is a current teacher, homeschool parent, retired teacher, after school program coordinator, a previous counselor at other camps, etc.  

  • Lead counselors will oversee and manage (1) junior counselor 
  • Each lead counselor will have a total of 15 campers in their group
  • Lead counselors must have experience working with school aged children.  If you have no prior experience with school aged children, please see our junior counselor position.

This position pays $650 per week.

Camp Dates:

We are looking for a counseling staff who is able to work all three summer sessions.  Please do not apply if you are not available for all three.

Ages 10 & 11: June 3 - 6, 2024 

Ages 8 & 9: June 24 - 27, 2024

Ages 6 & 7: July 15 - 18, 2024

Camp runs from 9:00 - 5:00 each day (Monday - Thursday).  Counselors are expected to be on-site by 8:00 a.m. each day.

Training Requirements:

We will have 2 mandatory training sessions prior to the start of camp and 1 training session after the first camp session.  Please do not apply if these dates and times do not work for you as they are required for all staff.

Certification Requirements:

Each person will undergo a criminal background check prior to an offer being finalized.  Additionally, you will need to become CPR & First-Aid certified prior to the first day of camp (the cost is covered by The FARM).  If you already have these certifications, you do not need to repeat training.
