2024 Tanabata Performer/Demonstration Application
Thank you for your interest in participating in this year's Tanabata Festival! Please be sure to review the details at the beginning of each section as you complete the application. Tanabata is a family-friendly event that focuses on the celebration of Japanese celebration of Tanabata.
The Tanabata Festival is a cultural event. Performances and demonstrations that focus on Japanese culture, wellness, sustainability or relates to the mission of the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum will be prioritized.
The mission of the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum of San Diego (JFGM) is to develop a traditional Japanese garden as a center to educate, engage, and inspire people of diverse backgrounds about Japanese culture and community legacy.
