Registration for online sessions on "Computational Linguistics for Pakistani Languages"
It is an online event to learn about Computational Linguistics and discussion about applications on Pakistani languages.
Objectives:
---------------
For Computer Science scholars:
(a) Learning fundamental concepts of Linguistics to create more accurately annotated/tagged datasets
(b) Learning fundamental concepts of Linguistics to effectively use available CL resources in the application.
(c) Becoming aware of the computational resources and libraries available for CL
(d) Becoming aware of the challenges of CL for Pakistani languages
Scholars of Linguistics can learn about
(a) Learning the computational grammar structures (how to represent morphology/grammar/semantics for computing)
(b) Learning to create annotated datasets for computational linguistics
(c) Learning to use tools and a programming language for processing the language data
(d) Becoming aware of the challenges of CL for Pakistani language
