Minnesota National College Fair Transportation Grant
The Minnesota National College Fair Committee is excited to continue a Transportation Grant Program for the 2022 Minnesota National College Fair. The goal of the Transportation Grant Program is to help schools offset transportation related costs of bringing students to the Minnesota National College Fair. We anticipate grants will range between $200 - $300 dollars, but schools traveling from outside of the Twin Cities metro area may be eligible for larger grant amounts. A number of factors will be considered including: schools with high populations of first generation and/or economically disadvantaged students, schools traveling from greater distances to the Convention Center, as well as number of buses utilized to transport students to and from the fair.

The Minnesota National College Fair will be held at the Minneapolis Convention Center on:
Wednesday, October 5, 2022
          Morning Session: 9 a.m. – Noon
          Evening Session: 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Thursday, October 6, 2022
  Morning Session 9 a.m.  – Noon

A Complete Application Includes:
          - Minnesota National College Fair Transportation Grant Application (this form)
          - Current School Profile

Grant recipients will be required to complete a reimbursement form after the Minnesota National College Fair to receive their grant funds.  Recipients will also be required to pre-register their students through the Lead Retrieval registration system, and register their buses on the MACAC website before attending the Minnesota National College Fair.

The priority deadline for the Transportation Grant application is May 13, 2022.  Anticipating a higher volume of applicants in 2022, schools or districts applying after the May 13 deadline will be considered on a funds-available basis.
