Type your name in the box below to agree to the following:                                                                                                                                                                                         The Oak Harbor Area Chamber of Commerce and The Apple Festival Parade Committee have the authority to remove any applicant/unit from the parade for violation of parade rules.  The Chamber and Committee will not be responsible for fees incurred for injury, illness or loss of personal property.  The Grand Parade will originate at the Oak Harbor Junior High School, proceed south on Church Street, east on Main Street, disbanding at Veterans Park. All Parade Awards will be announced on The Main Stage, on Church Street following the Grand Parade. If you sign up to be judged you must have a representative present to wait for the awards ceremony. If you cannot wait for your award then please mark the box that says entry only and you will not be judged. 1. All units must register and mount their parade registration number on left, front of unit. 2. All Political and Advertising Entries (No float/entertainment value) will be charged $25.00 3. Units are not allowed to stop procession of parade; exception being, emergencies only. Units may not stop to perform at Judge’s Stand. If you stop to perform at the Judge’s Stand you risk disqualification and not being invited to future parades.  4. In case of emergency, units will be directed to side of parade route. Please respect request, respond in an urgent and cooperative manner. 5. Unit(s), organization(s) or individual(s) which disrespect or are disloyal to the American Flag, Community or Country or use any emblem or subject deemed contrary to good taste will be removed from parade and/or area by a parade representative or law enforcement official.    6. No sirens permitted. 7. No one is permitted to ride on the hood of a vehicle. 8. No Fire Twirling of any kind-Any group using fire during their performance will be disqualified. 9. No throwing from floats, cars, trucks or other units. You must walk curbside to pass out candy, or hand-outs. 10. No unit’s transportation vehicles will be allowed in the parade.  Vehicles may park at Veteran’s Park. 11. Presentation of Awards for Grand Parade will be announced at the Main Stage, on Church Street following the Grand Parade (allowing consideration to Judges for calculations).  You must have a representative present to receive award(s). 12. No solicitation of any kind. This includes asking for donations, walking around with buckets, selling items, etc.  All Political and Advertising Entries (No float/entertainment value) will be charged $25.00.
