What exactly is Operation Slumber?
The Intrepid Museum’s Operation Slumber Overnight program is an incredible opportunity for organized youth groups and families to discover what it takes to live, eat and sleep aboard the Intrepid. Intrepid is better than ever and all yours from sunset until sunrise the following day.

Get exclusive access to the ship and Space Shuttle Pavilion, and sleep among the aircraft, just like enlisted sailors once did.

WHEN: Saturday, December 4th till Sunday, December 5th: 5pm arrival - 8am departure

Report for hours of fun on deck:

* Unlimited rides in a flight simulator

Notes
* The ship is climate controlled (heated in the Fall/Winter but tends to run chilly.  Please dress accordingly.). Please note the Flight Deck and other areas of the ship are outdoors.
* All participants, regardless of age & gender, will sleep in the same area. There are not separate sleeping areas.
* Please let us know of any food allergies. The Intrepid will try to accommodate as best as possible. In case of severe allergies, outside food may be brought aboard. (Some food may contain peanut oil or come in contact with peanuts)

Cost is $119 per person
* All scouts and siblings 6 years or older are welcome
* A parent/guardian must attend
