2023 DFL State Fair Volunteer Sign-Up

Volunteers are vital to the success of our DFL State Fair Booth - thank you for your interest! The 2023 Fair runs 12 days: Thursday, Aug. 24- Monday, Sept. 4. Volunteer roles include welcoming and assisting visitors, helping folks register to vote, and assisting at our photo booth area.

Each day we have three shifts, 8:30 am-1:00 pm, 12:30pm-5:00 pm, and 4:30-9:00pm. Each shift will have four volunteers scheduled. Please complete this form, selecting your top 5 shift preferences (and any more you’d like to work). A member of our DFL staff will respond as we confirm the schedule. Questions about volunteering can be directed to partyaffairs@dfl.org.

Some days are Congressional District Volunteer Days - Aug. 24 is CD 5; Aug. 26 is CD 7; Aug. 27 is CD 3; Sept. 2 is CD1 Day; and Sept. 4 is CD4 Day. You may request a shift on those days even if you do not live in that day's CD. If there is space we will contact you.

Volunteer trainings will be held at DFL Headquarters, 255 E. Plato Blvd on Wed. Aug. 16, at 6:30 pm, and Sat. Aug. 19, at 10:00 a.m. In this form, you can select the date you prefer or let us know that neither works. Complimentary fair tickets for the day(s) of your shift(s) will be distributed at training.
