Freeman Foundation Scholarship
Internal scholarship opportunity sponsored by the Freeman Foundation. The Freeman Foundation's major objectives include strengthening the bonds of friendship and understanding between the United States and countries of East Asia.  Through education and educational institutes, the Foundation hopes to promote a greater appreciation of Asian cultures, histories, and economies in the United States, as well as, a better understanding of the American people and of American institutions and purposes by the peoples of East Asia.

This grant’s sole purpose is to give eligible students accepted into The Singapore, The Hong Kong Experience and The Shanghai Experience scholarship monies to defray the costs of this international experience. Eligible students may receive scholarship awards up to $5,600.

The Freeman Foundation also granted additional scholarship funding for PELL Grant-eligible, GEN-1 and ethnic minority student participants. PELL Grant-eligible, GEN-1 and ethnic minority students may qualify for an additional diversity and inclusion scholarship of $1,400.
