RULES & REGULATIONS:

·       The person completing the entry form must be 18 years of age or older

·       Entries must submit 3 images of the completed window/decorations. Please send them to info@thetopsideofkansas.org by Wednesday, November 27th, 2024. The subject of the email must include the business name and 3 images.

·       The application must be received by 11:59 PM (MST), November 22nd, 2024.

·       The contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior. 

·       Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Therefore, only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged.

·       Judging criteria will include a) Unique design and creative use of lights and decorations; b) Storyline or theme; c) Display and placement of decorations, animated objects, etc.; and d) Overall presentation. 

·       A People’s Choice Award contest will be held on our Facebook Page @SCCDCommunity from November 29th, 2024, through December 13th, 2024. Where the community will vote for the “DTH Storefront Decorating Contest 2024” Album.

·       Winners will be announced on Friday, December 18th, 2024.

·       Prizes will be awarded to Most Nostalgic, Most Original, Most Luminous: Clark Griswold, and People’s Choice (via Facebook).
