The SKCTC Mountain Training Network is hosting a five-week carpentry training in downtown Harlan, KY. Trainees will work with SKCTC faculty from the construction technology program. Trainees will receive safety instruction and hands-on training in carpentry. All tools are materials will be provided.

Trainees will receive college credit for the course. All trainees will receive a scholarship to pay for the course as well as a stipend for their time.

Training will take place Monday and Tuesday from 3-7 pm beginning August 28 , 2023.

Trainees are NOT guaranteed a job upon completion but will have 40 hours of experience to list on resume and course credit to apply to carpentry certificates at SKCTC. MTN can assist interested trainees in continuing with additional classes.

SPACE IS LIMITED. We will notify selected trainees and wait-listed applicants as soon as possible.
