WSCB Project Playground: Your Small Steps to School Redesign

Project Playground is your opportunity to work directly with Ted Dintersmith and the WSCB team to design a powerful small step towards a BIG change for your students. Leveraging the book, What School Could Be, you and a group of fellow teachers will work as a team to design a small, yet powerful project that impacts Student-Driven Learning at your school.

Thursdays, Nov 3, 10, 17, 7:00 - 8:00 PM Eastern time or 4:00 - 5:00 PM Hawaii time

Tuesday, Nov 29 at either

  • 4:00 - 5:00 pm Eastern time (option 1), or
  • 4:00 - 5:00 pm Hawaii time (option 2)

A Classroom Teacher Team can be individual or have a maximum of six classroom teachers who are able to support each other on a collaborative project.

Teachers and/or Teacher Teams will be supported to infuse an existing unit with WSCB Student-Driven Learning strategies. These sessions will create a community of teacher teams to share and collaborate as we build new strategies for student agency. The outcomes of this experience with Ted is a renovated unit that fuses existing curriculum with student-driven learning principles.
