It’s Walking Month this May, and we have an exciting new Olympic-themed challenge for you to take part in! Gather your family, friends and colleagues and join us in taking on the Road 2 Paris virtual challenge 2024.

In teams of between 3-6 people, the challenge involves covering a combined distance of 440 miles throughout the month of May, which is the distance from the Eco Power Stadium to the Stade de France in Paris. Individually, this works out at just 2.3 miles per person, per day! (for a team of 6 members). Walk, run, row or cycle, have you got what it takes to compete? 

This year, we are raising money for our Walk and Talk project which plays a key role in improving health and wellbeing, reducing social isolation, and supporting Dementia and Alzheimer's across Doncaster. 

To register your team and participate in the challenge, it is a £12 registration fee. Your registration fee includes a Road 2 Paris t-shirt, 1 month gym membership at Foundation Fitness, and also covers the cost of a Walk and Talk session for one of our members to attend for the duration of the month.

There will be prizes available, so please be prepared to provide evidence of your physical activity (Strava/Apple Health/Android Health screenshots and photos are sufficient).
