Thank you for your interest in making a difference in your community the Helping Hands way!  Helping Hands, NJ, is a community of “neighbors helping neighbors” committed to ending food insecurity and supporting self-sufficiency. Through our community partners we provide grocery store gift cards, nutritious food, essential items, and resources to inspire confidence and hope to local families in need.

As we begin our 5th year of service to the greater Chatham community, we reflect on the hundreds of talented, dedicated and hard working volunteers at Helping Hands and how important it is to retain them. Since 2020, we have transformed lives and it would not be possible without volunteers.

Helping Hands, NJ is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit charitable organization, as such, we are committed to safeguarding the privacy and personal data of our client families with the highest level of confidentiality.  Many of our case families have children in the SDOC; as do many of our volunteers.  Our single goal is to fight hunger and poverty in the great Chatham area of New Jersey by assisting those in need.
