CECON 2024: Call for Speakers & Topics

Engineers, Educators, Leaders, Mentors, Suppliers:

Please submit your CECON 2024 speaker and topic proposals for the September 18-20 event happening in Frisco, TX. The 2024 event theme will be: Raising the Grade (www.TexasCECON.org).  We are requesting that our speakers present topical content focused on various ways “Raising the Grade” is applicable to our profession today:

  • The next ASCE Infrastructure Report Card is due to be released in 2025 as our communities’ infrastructure “needs improvement”.  How and what are we doing to “Raise the Grade” as an integral component to this assessment of our infrastructure?

  • Together we can explore ways to raise awareness, attracting future engineers to choose Civil. The attraction and retention of young Civil Engineers is stagnating across the country.  What are we doing to enhance our profession to “Raise the Grade” in terms of employee attraction and retention?

  •  Emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence are growing at a rampant rate across many sectors.  How are leveraging innovation and emerging technologies to “Raise the Grade” within Civil Engineering?

Let’s raise the grade for our future engineers and our community.

Come raise awareness with us at #CECON2024 — Raising the Grade!
