Youth Unity Rising Summit - October 18th

The Unity Rising Coalition Partners would like to invite you to join us on Friday, October 18th, 2024 for our second Youth Unity Rising Summit held in collaboration with students and organizations. The 2024 Youth Unity Rising Summit at CSU Spur will be an inclusive and accountable space to provide high school aged youth with immersive learning experiences through student-led workshops, empowering resources, and an engaging panel discussion. The purpose of the event is to engage young leaders in a day-long summit to learn about how they can advocate for climate and other social justices, engage in stewardship projects to protect our environment, and participate in community healing. By teaching diverse platforms that encourage youth to engage in meaningful action, this event aims to empower the next generation of leaders. The workshops, led by youth leaders, will discuss topics such as environmental justice, stewardship, leadership, advocacy, mental health, and inclusive wellness. This event is tailored to high school aged youth from marginalized communities and youth with a passion to advance justice and sustainability.

Parking at CSU Spur

There is free parking available in the guest parking lot behind the Vida Building (see map) for those wishing to drive to the Summit. 

We recommend carpooling or utilizing the East High, DSST: Cedar,  and DCIS buses arriving around 9:15 am and departing CSU Spur at 5:00 pm.
