Georgia Express is a founding member of the Referee Recruitment and Development Initiative.  One of the key programs is a new Referee Trainee program for boys and girls age 10-12.  The official Referee Course is for those age 13 and older.  The Referee Trainee program will include a one-hour field training program.  The course will be held on March 23 at Shakerag Elementary (10885 Rogers Circle, Johns Creek 30097).  Training times will be either 5:30-6:30PM or 6:30-7:30PM. 

Boys and girls who are 10-12 years of age are eligible, including brothers and sisters of players as well as players at other clubs.  Georgia Express Academy and SCCL players who attend the course will be excused from their team practice.  Trainees who complete the course will be eligible to referee U8 Rec games as well as serve as Assistant Referees for U9-U12 games.  Referee Trainees will be paid $15-20 per game depending on the age group and specific assignment.  Please complete the form below to sign-up.  If you have any questions please email Craig.Cunningham@GeorgiaExpressFC.com
