We’re looking for marine science experts to participate in an exert elicitation exercise focused on scoring the relative impacts from a suite of decarbonization strategies on fishery ecosystems. The exercise will consist of a survey which will be completed independently by participating experts between January 10 - 31, 2023, followed by a two-hour workshop between February 6-9 where you will convene with other participating experts to discuss your scores.
The survey will support the work of the nonprofit Fishery Friendly Climate Action to develop a comparative framework of synergies and tradeoffs from a suite of decarbonization solutions on fishery ecosystems, and will also support the completion of an "engaged thesis" by Brown University senior Vanessa Sedore.
By filling out this form, you are stating your interest and availability to score and compare 10 decarbonization solutions and attend a 2-hour virtual workshop to discuss your scores with other experts.
We're hoping to collect information about you as an expert and your availability. More information about this how this project will provide value can be found here and an overview of expert elicitation scoring instructions is available here.
Please email Vanessa Sedore at vanessa_sedore@brown.edu or Sarah Schumann at fisheryfriendlyclimateaction@gmail.com with any questions.
