Our main speaker is Fr. Hrisostom. One of our main topics of discussion at the Congress will be our dual identity as Romanian-Americans, especially as this applies to how we live out our Orthodox faith. Please reflect on this topic and write 1-2 sentences that answer the prompt: "When it comes to your identity, what is most relevant to you? What touches your heart? What can you not live without?"
***While the main focus of this retreat will be the Youth Congress, participants will also take part in conferences, workshops, and discussions on various topics related to the theme.
This is one of our most important events in the sense that it allows us to communicate problems we face in our parish, in our youth groups, and work together towards solutions. Part of the success relies on everyone's participation in the Congress, whether it is sharing information about the youth at their parish or offering a solution, or simply giving feedback. More information about how to prepare in this respect will be sent out soon.
We will also be organizing indoor and outdoor games, team-building activities, and more, in hopes of encouraging the formation of long-lasting friendships.***
