2006-2008 Players – Four Day Contact Safety and Angling Camp
Dates: Tuesdays in April (April 6,13,20 and 27)
Times: 4:15-5:15pm (*times subject to change)
APRIL SPECIAL - only $120 plus GST includes four 1-hour ice sessions

This camp was created specifically for 2006-2008 players preparing to enter their first year of contact hockey or those brushing up on skills from their first year or two of contact hockey. This camp is designed to teach players how to play and defend in the game of hockey when checking and physical contact becomes apart of game play.  Players are taught how to protect themselves and anticipate pressure as well as how to safely and effectively use contact checking - all under Phase 2 protocols. The 4 hours will also work on power skating, puck control, edge work, speed, balance, shooting and decision making skill development.

Due to Covid Restrictions in place, we are currently restricted from accepting registrants from outside of GTMHA. The Trail Smoke Eaters hope these restrictions will be lifted with the next updated PHO at the end of the month. If they are lifted then players from outside of Greater Trail Minor Hockey Association will be able to register for the camps. Please stay tuned.
