On Sunday, September 18, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-N.J.), the highest ranking Latino in Congress, will host his
12th Annual Hispanic Heritage Month event celebrating the history, culture and contributions of Latino-Americans in the United States. This year’s event will include special guest Blanca Rosa Vilchez, a senior national correspondent for Univision for over 30 years. Sen. Menendez will also honor Congressman Albio Sires (D-N.J.-08) and New Jersey Senate Majority Leader Teresa Ruiz (LD-29) for their longtime advocacy on behalf of the state’s Latino community. West New York Mayor Gabriel Rodriguez will emcee this year’s event.
