Meeting the moment: Artists and arts organizations respond to the twin crucibles of the pandemic and the protests. A panel with:

Roger Cummings, chief cultural producer, Juxtaposition Arts, a teen-staffed art and design center, gallery, retail shop, and artists’ studio space in North Minneapolis

Sarah Bellamy, artistic director, Penumbra Theatre, one of only three professional Black theater companies in the nation and perhaps the most esteemed, gave dramatist August Wilson his first production

Kimberly Motes, managing director, Children’s Theatre Company, the nation’s largest theater for youth and families and a Tony Award winner

Rhiana Yazzie, filmmaker and founder, New Native Theatre, an 11-year-old company dedicated to fostering and telling Native American stories from Minnesota and beyond through commissions, nurturing and productions
