City of Ouray Park Use Application
Located next to the famous Ouray Hot Springs Pool, Fellin Park is also commonly referred to as the Hot Springs Park. The large park gets its name from the Fellin family who deeded the land to the City of Ouray in 1924.

Fellin Park has hosted countless weddings, reunions, birthdays, concerts, races (both foot and bicycle), softball games, community movie nights, as well as being the main gathering spot for viewing the fireworks on the 4th of July each year. Whatever your event might be, Fellin Park is the perfect place to host it.

Located approximately one mile north of the Ouray Hot Springs Pool on Highway 550, Rotary Park is a multi-use park maintained by the City of Ouray. Rotary Park has several picnic tables set comfortably in the shade of a grove of tall spruce and fir trees. Many times rock climbers can be seen on the tall cliff that immediately adjoins the border of Rotary Park. A short walk to Chautauqua Lane, across the highway, leads to the Uncompahgre River Trail.

In the winter Rotary Park is the location of Ouray’s popular ice rink. Rotary Park has restrooms and water available in the summer months.

Reservations are accepted on a first-come/first-served basis. A Security Deposit of $250 is required if you are renting the entire park with a tent, or if you have more than 50 guests when alcohol is served. Security Deposit is due as soon as possible to secure the rental. Rental fees are to be paid in full 30 days prior to the event date.

If you are having a private party with alcoholic beverages served to your guests, please complete this application and send to the City of Ouray no later than three (3) weeks prior to the event. A public event with alcoholic beverages sold to guests takes a minimum of six (6) weeks for approval from the State Licensing Board and requires a Special Event Permit, form number DR 8439, from the State of Colorado Liquor and Tobacco Enforcement Division. There is a link on the Event Venue park page on cityofouray.com.

If Goods will be sold during your event, has a Huckstering Permit Application been made? This application can also be found on the Event Venue park page on cityofouray.com.

We ask that cancellations be made no later than 30 days before event or a cancellation fee may be incurred.
