We want all students to have fun, learn new skills and make new friends, however, to facilitate this it’s necessary for students to abide by the following policies and procedures:

Expected Behavior
• Maintain personal boundaries
• Use appropriate language and volume
• Keep the ASP Program Room and other utilized areas clean
• Enter with a positive attitude
• Adhere to all school policies, including dress code
• Zero tolerance policy for violence

Sign-In/Sign-Out
• Students must arrive to Program within 15 minutes of dismissal.
• Students must sign in upon entering the afterschool program.
• Students are only permitted into the program after the designated
time if they have a note from a tutor lab instructor, coach, teacher,
office personnel, or school administrator.
• Students are expected to bring all of the belongings they need for
the evening upon entering the program, as they will not be allowed
back to their classroom or locker.
• Once students sign out of the program they are to leave the school
premises immediately out the nearest set of doors.
• Once signed out, students may not re-enter the program until the
next program day.

Daily Classes
• Mentoring and homework help is mandatory at each site.
• Class sizes vary depending on the class, but will not exceed 20.
• Students may not join a class if they haven’t signed up for it or if
the class has already started.
• Homework is the only option for students who arrive once the
classes have started.
• If students choose not to participate in any classes or homework
then they must sign out and leave the program immediately.
• Students are not permitted to leave a class once it has started
unless they are signing out and leaving the program.

School Hallways/Restrooms
• Students must remain in designated afterschool program areas.
• Students may only use designated restrooms and school facilities.
