VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY! Are you looking for experience in working at live events? Are you an architecture, urban planning, engineering, or design student, innovator, or creative interested in learning about emerging opportunities in the field?

Volunteer at the 2023 Media Architecture Biennale (MAB23) to network with students, academics, and professionals from architecture, art, design, urban planning, media and communication, urban informatics, and public policy to share new ideas and shape this evolving field.

We are looking for local and international volunteers to support the online portion of the conference (June 14th - 15th), as well as the in-person event (June 21st - 23rd) at TMU.

Tasks include providing technical support, coordinating speakers, answering questions from attendees, and setting up and tearing down event spaces. You can indicate whether you can help with the online portion, in-person, or both, in the application form below.

All volunteers will receive full registration to the event ($50-$600 value) and will be given breaks throughout the conference to attend activities. All in-person volunteers will receive an MAB23 t-shirt and an invitation to an exclusive volunteer and staff dinner.

The time commitment for an MAB23 Volunteer Position is roughly 4-5 hrs/day for 2-3 days (either online, in-person, or both).

Deadline to complete the form is May 15th, 2023.

We will reach out to all successful applicants in late-May to coordinate training sessions before the conference.
