What is PechaKucha?

The PechaKucha 20x20 presentation format is a slide show of 20 images, each auto-advancing after 20 seconds. It’s non-stop and you've got 400 seconds to tell your story, with visuals guiding the way. You can tell a personal story or share a project, a passion, a fascination - pretty much anything!

YOU MAY NOT PROMOTE A FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS OF ANY KIND.

Before submitting, we highly recommend you read the About section of https://www.pechakucha.com/ and watch some past presentations to get a feel for the format and spirit of PechaKucha. Keep in mind that marketing materials placed on slides are PROHIBITED. We will also have a mandatory rehearsal before the event either in-person or virtually.

We can't wait to see what you have to share with our community!

(Lack of communication and/or meeting deadlines prior to event may result in your being dropped from the program.)

Please share your catchy, attention grabbing presentation title. (This will be used for marketing of the event.) Examples: 'Splash: My Life as a Professional Mermaid' or 'The Great Egg War'.

(This title can change)
Presentation Description *
In 4 or less sentences, please articulate as succinctly as possible what you're planning to present on and why you believe it will be a compelling talk. PLEASE NOTE: Talks about specific or concrete things or events typically work better for the PechaKucha format. For example,  a presentation on being a professional mermaid or how to build a house out of beer cans is usually more compelling than a talk like 'Why We Should Love Everybody'. (Marketing/standard company presentations cannot be submitted.)
