This is a hands on class to learn the steps needed to stop the bleeding until help arrives. During active shooter events, our first responders are taught to clear the scene to look for the "bad guy" and any secondary threats before emergency personnel can enter the facility to care for the wounded. That takes time. We must be prepared to Save a Life: Control the Bleed for ourselves and those around us until help arrives.
If you're a teacher, administrator, bus driver, office personnel, staff member or volunteer at any school... you NEED this seminar and on this one day you can attend it without any cost to you. Mass shootings have become all too familiar today and that is unacceptable. This seminar is designed to give us the information and data to identify, reduce, control, and then eliminate these incidents.
Tuition is FREE for any REGISTERED individual. Space is limited. Seminar will take place from 12:00pm - 5pm at 6669 A. L. Philpot Hwy in Martinsville.
