Meet your mentor or your teacher alongside program coaches. Discuss roles within your partnership and tips for successful classroom experiences. Mentors begin at 2PM for youth engagement training. Teachers join at 3:30 PM.

Teachers, if you are working with a team of others from your school, please encourage them to attend alongside you.

Mentors will…
-Explore examples of student voice in the classroom
-Explore ages and stages of youth
-Explore Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs

Teachers and Mentors will...
-Discuss the current state of student and classroom engagement/needs
-Discuss mutual and individual objectives
-Work collaboratively to develop a data collection and analysis plan
-Schedule classroom visit(s)
-Discuss any comments, questions, progress, etc.
-Discuss individualized needs with GREEN Committee coaches

All mentors and teachers participating in this program MUST ALSO have completed the GREEN Training Module or in-person GREEN Training in previous years. Please reach out to the program manager (amitchell@flintriver.org) if you are unsure whether you meet these requirements.
