VOLUNTEER TO SUPPORT LOCAL ARTISTS & ENTREPRENEURS!
At the Black Night Market, we create space and opportunity for the BIPOC community of businesses and artists. We're seeking volunteers to help us create this safe and organized event.

We're asking that volunteers commit to 2-3 hours at the most. 

Due to unknown dates and times, this application will qualify you for any date available. We will email you to confirm dates and times so please provide an email that you check regularly. 

We will place volunteers where we need them most, so you may or not be working the ones you choose. 

PLEASE NOTE OPENERS ARE TOP PRIORITY! WE NEED OPENERS AND CLOSERS THE MOST!! 

**** Openers 11am - 2pm *****  
1.Greet, Sign in and direct vendors to their vendor spots.
2. Set out signs and hang up banners.
3. Help with anything to prepare for opening; set up the BNM booth etc. 

BNM GREETERS!  2pm - 5pm / 5pm - 8pm 
1. Greet guest and pass out performance programs / schedules
2. Walk around with a Email sign up sheet and ask guests to sign up 

BNM BOOTH OPERATOR!  2pm - 5pm / 5pm - 8pm 
1. Sit at booth to pass out programs, flyers and BNM info 
2. Assist Vendors / guests with any questions they may have
3. Community check up - Walk around to check on vendors / guests

***Closers / Take down Crew 7pm-10pm ***
1. Help clean up, pick up trash etc. 
2. Take down the BNM Booth
3. Assist Vendors by directing vehicles, or helping them tear down and load out.

All volunteers are required to wear a white Tshirt and a name tag. Name tags will be provided!  *
PLEASE NOTE
The Black Night Market is owned and operated by one woman and we need all of the help we can get. To better serve the community of guests, businesses and artists we are asking for your commitment to volunteer. 

If you are someone who loves BNM, our work, impact and  want to support the BIPOC community then please sign up and tell your family and friends to do the same. 

We do offer paid, seasonal jobs for those who've committed volunteer hours consistently in the past. To be considered as a contractee for BNM we ask that you volunteer first to learn the ropes and operations. 

So please, show up 15 minutes before your shift and check in with Mari Griffin the owner.
