Welcome to Camp Hope 2019!
We are excited for a new summer of fun and fellowship with our buddies and campers! Camp Hope is a week-long, overnight summer camp for children, teenagers and young adults with developmental disabilities. Buddies are paired one-on-one with a camper for the duration of the week, attending to their camper's emotional and physical needs while building a friendship of love and support. Buddies stay for the full duration of camp; half weeks are not permitted.
A buddy training session will be held in June. All buddies (new and returning) are required to attend training before their camp session. Additional information regarding training will be forthcoming.
Camp activities consist of outdoor adventures, swimming, entertainment, evening campfires, a costume dance party and a talent show, to name just a few! In the evening, after camper bedtime, buddies are given free time and led in a daily reflection which provides camaraderie and support. Camp Hope is a Christian, inter-denominational organization founded on the values of faith, integrity, compassion, and selfless service. Camp Hope is open to all faith backgrounds and strives to make sure that each volunteer is comfortable throughout his or her time at camp.
We look forward to your application! If you have any questions regarding the application or would like more information, please contact Kyle Gaughan at
