Student Tech Team Application!
Thank you for your decision to apply for our Student Tech Team! Through the Verizon Innovative Learning Grant, all 7th-8th grade students will be receiving Chromebooks.
 
The Student Tech Team will assist the Campus Service Representative with providing technology support to the campus.

Criteria for Candidate Selection:
  - Completed application
  - Teacher nomination or recommendations (optional)
  -  Passing (70%) Grades, Conduct and Attendance

Student Commitment:
The Student Tech Team members are the front line of tech support for both the students and teachers of NMS. They are committed for one semester or the entire school year and will reapply each semester/year (based on campus).

General Responsibilities:

Basic technical assistance for staff and students
Log-on and email issues
Troubleshooting apps
New software testing
Help distributing “Day User” and “Loaner” Chromebooks
Promote “See something? Say something!”
Actively promote a no-cyberbullying environment
Basic Hardware Maintenance (fix keyboards, Chromebook cleaning/disinfection, etc.)

Grades, Conduct and Attendance

Collect and review all student applications
Review all criterias for candidates
Send acceptance letters
