Partnership is our language for membership. Rather than signing up indefinitely, we give an opportunity every year to commit to journeying once more around the sun in community together. Partnership is about being involved in shaping and nurturing the community of One Church to be all it can be. It's about bringing ourselves into the room trusting that we are all expressions of God's kindness to each other. It's saying that we're committed to live towards Intimacy with God, Inclusion of everyone, Involvement in the world, Interdependence with one another and Integrity in all that we do.
One Church Partnership Pledge:
I would like to become a partner of One Church Brighton for the coming year. By signing this covenant I am seeking to become more intimate with God, more involved in the transformation of his world, more interdependent with those in the church and in my communities and more inclusive of all I meet. In all these things I will strive to live the life of integrity that Jesus calls me to follow.
Sunday involvement:
Partnership is a good time to consider how we can use our gifts and talents for the benefit of the Sunday community. There are lots of ways you can get involved and where we need help to make things run smoothly on a Sunday. These include being part of various teams, those who work with our Kids and Youth, or help run the PA/Streaming, Welcoming, Coffee, the set up and clear down including lock up teams and last but not least musicians.
