Center Director
Family Life Center of Auglaize County is currently seeking a part-time Center Director to provide Christ-centered leadership to a vibrant, non-profit ministry.
The Family Life Center of Auglaize County is a non-profit pregnancy resource center located in St Marys, Ohio. Our outreach is the following:
•
To serve women, men, teens in unplanned pregnancies with life affirming choices and support.
•
To provide life skills and parenting training through our Earn-to-Learn Online and our BrightCourse programs which equips single moms and dads or new parents with parenting and life preparation classes.
•
To provide free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds and free STD tests for pregnant moms and their partners.
•
To provide an opportunity for emotional and spiritual growth and or healing.
Under the authority of the organization’s Board of Directors, a Center Director will be responsible for:
•
Directing the day-to-day operations of the St. Marys Center including management of programs
•
Supervising, managing, and overseeing the development of staff members and volunteers of the SM Center
•
Partnering with the Wapakoneta Director and the Fundraising Director to develop an engaging and effective fundraising program
•
Managing and aiding in programing, financial processes, client services, resource development, and risk management
•
Representing the organization through public relations and partnerships
•
Working alongside the Board, by attending all meetings and communicating directly and regularly with its President
•
Creates/maintains a culture/office atmosphere that encourages openness, honesty, trust, respect and Christian unity.
Required qualifications:
•
Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
•
Exhibit a strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position.
•
Agree with and be willing to uphold the Commitment of Care, Statement of Faith and Mission Statement and policies of the FLCAC.
•
A bachelor's degree (preferably in business administration or non-profit management or education)
•
At least one year of experience in an administrative position with direct supervision of paid staff.
•
Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with board, staff, volunteers, clients, donors, churches, other organizations, government leaders, and the media through a variety of formats such as letters, policies, newsletters, public speaking, etc.
•
Ability to solicit donations in an energetic, professional, and ethical manner
•
Proficient organizing, management, problem solving, and program development skills
•
Self-starter with good judgment and integrity, with the ability to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision.
•
Excellent office and computer skills to include the use of general office equipment & Microsoft Office software
Preferred qualifications:
•
An advanced degree in related field
•
Experience in pregnancy center work
