Victorian U-18 State Teams
Are your students interested in playing Ultimate outside of school? If so, please encourage them to get involved with the Victorian State team program!
Each year Ultimate Victoria send an U-18 boys and U-18 girls Victorian representative team to the Australian Youth Ultimate Championships (AYUC), generally held in the July school holidays, and we are looking for new players to get involved. AYUC is the centrepiece of Australian youth Ultimate where the country's best youth ultimate players get the opportunity to represent their respective state or territory at the annual peak championship for athletes aged 12-18 years old.
Only new to the sport? No worries! Coaching staff for these teams are motivated to help each individual to learn regardless of skill level or experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop further in the sport and be involved in a great community event. Some of the best young Australian representative players today experience Ultimate for the first time in this State team program. Trials for these teams are expected to be run following the School State Champs.
