FURTHER IMPORTANT AND RELEVANT INFORMATION!!

If ground water or drainage issues are discovered, the moisture barrier installation may need to be delayed until these and other items that prevent a safe and effective installation are resolved.
If there is any foil type insulation in the subfloor, the power will need to be switched off at the board before installation can begin.
We can remove the foil insulation if desired or required for a fee agreed prior to the work. This is for safety purposes.
There may be areas that are unable to be accessed. We will install the moisture barrier in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
The subfloor area needs to be clear of rubbish, debris, unused construction materials and the like. We can removed this for a fee agreed on prior to work commencing.
On occasion, due to a reduction in moisture levels in the subfloor area, timber framing and flooring has been known to shrink. Small gaps may appear in floor board as an example.
We take no responsibility for this occurrence if it does take place.
Another rare but possible occurrence may be settlement of foundations into earth that is damp and unable to dry (under the moisture barrier) that has been exposed to circulating air prior to the barrier being installed.
Proper management of ground and stormwater is a must to minimise the chance of this occurring. Wellington Moisture Barriers takes no responsibility for either of the above (shrinkage and settlement).
