We are currently looking for a couple great folks to join our Farmer's Market team. This is super part-time work, weekend only. Saturday Market Shift will be from 6:30a-2:00p, and Sunday Market Shift will be from 8:30a-2:00p. It is a seasonal position, every week from mid-April to October-ish. This position pays $16/hour plus tips.
What we are looking for: Someone who is eager to represent the outgoing and energized portion of our Nourished Folks brand. They are willing and happy to physically transport event materials like heavy tents, grill and propane, odds and ends and of course: food. They have their Food Handler's Card and are happy to abide by FCHD regulations. They do not need to be passionate about food, but knowledgeable and excited enough to cook and follow directions. The food will be pre-prepared and you will have training on how to execute a great snack for Market goers! This person needs to be organized and able to work alone in busy situations. They need to be patient and kind with customers, with the ability to talk and chat with others while preparing food.
