Opinions for the Parliamentary Debate on Gaelic
Fàilte oirbh a chàirdean,

We are sending out this form to give you a chance to voice your own opinions ahead of the Parliamentary Debate on Gaelic on the 23rd. If you can return your completed form to us by Friday evening (the 18th) we would be grateful.

It matters that allies and supporters are seen to recognise the right of Vernacular Speaker communities to prioritise our own regional needs in this time of crisis, in keeping with the values of social justice and fairness espoused by the Scottish Government.

HOW WE WILL USE YOUR FEEDBACK

1) We are keen to use anonymised quotes on social media to raise the profile of the campaign for recognition and representation. Be as poetic as you like!

2) If you have more detailed points which tally with or support the main aims of Guth nan Siarach, we will forward those to Alasdair Allan (MSP for our region) by the end of the week, and we hope that this will influence his own arguments and perhaps those of other MSPs.  Your opinions can be forwarded anonymously if you wish, or in strictest confidence with a name.

Feel free to complete the form in English or Gaelic, as suits.

This form will save your email address (the one you joined us with ideally) to ensure authenticity but all data will remain confidential. You can add your name at the bottom of the form if you wish of course, but we will not use it publicly at any time.
