The mission of Legacy House is to offer transitional housing for LGBTQ+ youth ages 18-24 who are navigating homelessness in Kalamazoo County. We are committed to doing our part to support those in our community affected by the epidemic of homelessness by providing residents with services, resources, and skill-building to encourage and facilitate healthy, sustainable, and holistic transitions into independence and interdependence.

Legacy House provides an independent transitional housing solution that does not provide 24-hour support to residents but does have staff available daily from 8 AM to 11 PM. 

This application is used to determine whether you are eligible and whether this program can offer you the support and assistance you desire. The questions in this application are included solely as a way of establishing whether this program is a good fit for your needs and situation.  You have the right to not answer any question you believe is not necessary to determine eligibility.
