Pet Savers - Volunteer Contract

Pet Savers hereby agrees to allow the undersigned to donate his or her service to Pet Savers in the undersigned’s capacity as a Volunteer for Pet Savers, and the undersigned hereby accepts a position as a Volunteer for Pet Savers, upon the following terms, conditions, and understandings:

Terms and Conditions

The undersigned’s services to Pet Savers are provided strictly in a voluntary capacity as a Volunteer, and without any express or implied promise of salary, compensation, or any other kind of payment.

The undersigned’s services are furnished without any employment-type or similar benefits, including, without limitation, medical, disability, life or any other type of insurance, retirement or pension benefits, worker’s compensation, vacations, or sick time.

The undersigned will familiarize himself/herself and comply with Pet Savers’ policies and procedures applicable to Volunteers. In particular, the undersigned fully understands that Pet Savers expects high standards of moral conduct,andethicaltreatmentoftheanimalsunderitscare. Theundersignedwilladherestrictlytothese standards in his/her capacity as a Volunteer.

The undersigned understands that Pet Savers, without notice or hearing, may terminate his/her services as a Volunteer at any time, with or without reason or cause.

I do hereby swear that I have never before been convicted of animal cruelty, neglect, or abandonment.

Release

I understand that the handling of animals and other Volunteer activities on behalf of Pet Savers may place me in a hazardous situation and could result in injury to me, or my personal property. In consideration of the premises, the mutual promises herein contained and Pet Savers allowing me to donate my services to Pet Savers, and on behalf of myself, and my heirs, successors, personal representatives and assigns, I hereby release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Pet Savers and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents, and their successors and assigns, from any and all claims, causes of action and demands of any nature, whether known or unknown, arising out of or in connection with my activities and the donation of my services as a Volunteer for Pet Savers.

As a volunteer of Pet Savers I do hereby swear that I have never been convicted of animal cruelty, neglect or abandonment. I agree to notify Pet Savers if there is ever a change in this status.

Signing below states you understand the terms and conditions.

As a parent or legal guardian of the above-named Volunteer, I hereby give consent for my minor child or ward to become a Volunteer for Pet Savers as described in the above Volunteer Contract and, by my signature below, and in consideration of the premises, the mutual promises herein contained and Pet Savers allowing my minor child or ward to donate his/her services to Pet Savers, join in and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Release above.
