24 Hour Barber Challenge - FUNDRAISER inspired by the 24 HOUR Cutting the Negativity ™️ founded by our friend and industry colleague Master Barber Juan Acevedo of Chicago, Illinois. The 2hr Barber challenge is to bring community awareness and resources to challenges we face in our inner cities. This will be the second 24 hour barber challenge in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The cause for this initiative is to raise funds for both the college tour and teen barber program.
Master Barber Alvin D. Owens; Owner of Regimen Barber Collective & Director of Education Youth’s Annual Spring Break College Tour program will take on the 24 Hour Barber Challenge for his initiatives serving Kenosha & Racine Youth.

How it works:
Monies generated by patrons for barbering/beauty services will be donated to the Edu/Youth college tour & barber teen program. However, due to this being a FUNDRAISER patrons will be donating many amounts for the initiatives. We are asking that they pay no less than the minimum for services listed.
Suggested Cost of services available to patrons within the 24 hour:
Men’s Haircuts $35
Beards $30
Hot Towels Shaves $45
Steam Facial Shaves $45
Sports Facial $45
Women’s Big Chop $50
Women’s Ends Trimmed $35-45 depending on lengths and layers
Preteen & Teen Haircuts $25
Grooming Retail available also.
Industry friends and colleagues are welcome to participate within the 24 hour challenge; payments from their service will be donated. We’re asking barbers & stylist to join us with a minimum of 2 hour participation and donate a minimum of up to $100 in services rendered paid by patrons. All paid services provided between the 24 hours will all be donated.

The college tour excursion is convening March 31st through April 6th, 2024. Students and Adults will travel the southern border visiting campuses in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas. Highlights will include the Legacy Museum, Morehouse & Spelman College, Clark Atlanta University, Jackson & Alabama State, Tuskegee University, Texas Southern University, And many more including more historical sites, shopping, and youth activities.
How you can support:
- Make a donation - any amount great or small; will benefit college tour program
- Sponsor a service and gift to a friend and/or someone in need of a haircut
- Financially Donate a block of services for a group
- Show-up in person and/or online to root for all hair care professionals during the 24 hour challenge.
- Provide healthy energy snacks & meals for participants of the challenge.
