2023 Helen White Higher Education Scholarship
Junior Appalachian Musicians, Inc. is proud to present the Helen White Higher Education Scholarship Fund,  available to both high school seniors going to college, as well as current undergrad college students who will not have graduated before Spring 2024. Helen White was the founder of Junior Appalachian Musicians, and since her passing, JAM, Inc. has collected memorial donations for this fund.

Applicants should have a field of study related to: Traditional Appalachian or American music, any level of elementary, middle or high school education or counseling, or Appalachian studies.

Applicants must have completed at least one year participation in a JAM affiliated program during their childhood, with a higher preference given to students who were committed to a JAM program for longer than one year.
