The MIT NET Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for businesses and organizations to engage in an innovative MIT educational initiative, which provides talented and motivated underserved communities with the knowledge, skills and network connections critical to success in the global workforce.

MIT NET’s Computer and Data Science Certificate (CDS) is an intensive cohort-based digital learning program, where talented refugee learners gain access to a MIT-level education in computer and data science, entrepreneurship and innovation frameworks, and 21st century skill development.

Through our internship program, learners consolidate what they have learned in their online MIT coursework and skills training, making valuable contributions to internship host companies. We are currently recruiting internship hosts across a number of industries and fields where our learners can gain practical experience, refine their skills, and grow their professional networks.

This commitment involves:

—Internship duration for 3 months with an average of 20-40 hours each week
—Internship cycles between June - December 2023 (dates are flexible). 
—Remote, in-person or hybrid position
—A dedicated supervisor to ensure a quality internship and its successful completion.
—Compensating learners at the prevailing local corporate or internship rate
