2025 SoulPlay Festival Scholarship Application

Do you feel called to join us this June but the ticket is just out of reach?

We know that when it comes to finances, sometimes we're up and sometimes we're down. Therefore we would like to offer the opportunity for some people that need additional help to come participate in the magic that is SoulPlay.

While we would like for as many people as possible to experience SoulPlay and we want to make it as accessible as possible it is also a very expensive event to produce. Therefore, we cannot offer any full scholarships.

We will be offering a limited amount of Low-Income tickets to our June event.

Please realize with an open heart that we can only offer this to a finite amount of people. If your request is not accepted, we hope you understand that this is not personal and that you continue to be part of our SoulPlay community and join us for future events. 

Another way to join us at a reduced cost is to join our SoulMates Team (Work-Trade). The application and details can be found here: www.soulplay.co/applications. In the SoulMates team there are opportunities for roles with deeper discounts than the Low-Income route.

We will be releasing scholarship decisions in batches on specific dates.
First batch: February 1st
Second batch: April 1st
Third batch: May 15th

If we have any Low-Income tickets left we will continue to award them on a rolling basis until the event.

Eligibility Self Assessment 

You may be eligible for a low-income ticket if one or more of the following applies to your situation:

  • Your annual household income is below the poverty line for your area. (Because of major cost of living discrpencies please look up levels for your area.)
  • You are a single parent supporting one or more children
  • You are currently receiving government assistance (such as SNAP, SSI, or TANF)
  • You are a student with limited income
  • You are experiencing unemployment or underemployment
  • You face significant medical expenses that impact your discretionary income
  • You are supporting multiple dependents on a limited income
  • You are experiencing other circumstances that make the full-price ticket a significant financial burden

If you're questioning whether you qualify, consider:

  • Would paying full price for this ticket create significant financial stress?
  • Would you need to sacrifice essential needs to afford the full-price ticket?
  • Are there other financial circumstances in your life that make attending this festival challenging?

If a ticket would be a stretch but you can reasonably afford the full-price ticket, we ask that you leave these reduced-price tickets for those who cannot.
