Group Rules
1. Be Kind No Hate Speech or Bullying
In the FFN (Family, Friends, and Neighbor) Facebook group, we share stories, strategies, resources, and insights related to our caregiving journeys. Only share posts directly related to supporting children, fostering better provider/caregiving functioning and relationships, or strengthening this community. Posting deliberately disruptive statements, intentionally derailing conversations, using intentionally inflammatory language, and posting items for sale will not be tolerated.

2. Respect everyone's privacy
All participants must respect other group members’, children’s and families privacy. Because we share our private experiences nothing viewed here should ever be shared with anyone outside of the group. Do not reveal any of their identifying information (such as names or photos). Do not record or capture posts in any way. This group is private, but any group member can access personal Facebook profiles if the proper privacy settings on personal pages are not set.

3. Reminder
All participants should keep in mind that although it is required that participants keep group discussions confidential, people could choose to violate this rule and share information.

4. Respect everyone
Think about how you can frame your questions or comments to protect their privacy and dignity; put yourself in their shoes and do not divulge unnecessary details. If you have a question you’d like to post but think it would be sharing too much information, you can ask our staff to make the post anonymously. You may do so by sending a direct message to V Garrett FFN the group admin. It is also important that we are mindful and respectful of families and their stories.

5. Engage in respectful dialogue and diversity
Diversity provides varied experiences to learn from not everyone in the group will share your culture, ideals, beliefs, or ideas. These aspects of life are important, but each group member must be respectful of other individuals, identities, religions or lack of religion, and principles. Do not post notices of events at locations that are discriminatory to certain groups. Ignore or scroll past things you dislike or disagree with. Political debates are not allowed.

6. Reporting
If someone says or does something in the group that is inappropriate, offensive or unsafe please tag V Garrett FFN in a reply or screenshot and send with a comment of your concern to Admin V Garrett FFN for review. This should be the only instance of sharing non-public posts with others.
