Eligibility for the EFIT Essentials

For participants new to EFT, recommended reading for this course is A Primer for Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) by Susan M Johnson and Leanne Campbell.

I am a member /student member of a recognised counselling / professional mental health organisation (This professional body should have a code of ethics that you are bound by. It should also be a recognised body that has a membership of mental health professionals or students. It should require that you have a mental health qualification that will qualify you to be a mental health counsellor or psychotherapist (or are studying for one) in order to join.

I agree to not record any part of this training in any format (audio, video, or visual). Personal written notes of non-confidential material are permitted

Notes:

2. We reserve the right to change the venue to another central location. Final venue will be confirmed at least 6 weeks prior to the course.

Times

Registration on the 1st day 9:00 am to finish 4:30 pm. The second day will run 9:30 am - 4:30 pm.

On completion

Participants receive a Certificate of Attendance.
(Any interested therapist with a geographical base in Britain is able to become an associate member of BEFT www. beftcentre.org )

Cancellation Policy

We appreciate that, due to unforeseen events, there may sometimes be the need to cancel. We usually make our final decision whether to run a course at least 6 weeks before the course begins but in extraordinary circumstances this may be only 2 weeks before - we will keep you informed.

All cancellations by those registered need to be received by email or in writing.

For all cancellations we retain an administrative charge of £50.

If you cancel your place on this EFIT course more than 6 weeks before the start date we will issue a full refund minus the administrative charge.

If the date of cancellation is less than 6 weeks before the course start date, we will retain 100% of the course fee unless:

a) you are able to find a replacement who fulfils the registration criteria whereby, we will issue a full refund minus the administrative charge; or
b) you defer your place and we transfer you to a future course/module starting within the next 18 months and run here in Britain. If the course fees increase during this time, you’ll be liable to pay the extra cost. If you do not complete an Externship within the 18 months you will not receive a refund.

Workshop cancellation - In the unlikely event of us having to cancel or postpone due to a lack of participants or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, we will refund your paid course fees in full but are unable to reimburse you for further costs such as travel, airfares and accommodation.

We reserve the right to have one trainer on some workshops.
