The Joslin Memorial Library & the Board Of Trustees supports the American Library Association’s Library Bill Of Rights. We also place a high value on the community’s right to express their concerns regarding materials that are a part of the Library’s collection. If there is an objection to an item being in the Library’s collection, there is an option to request that the item be re-evaluated. Any patron making this request must complete this form & submit it to the Library Director.
Once the completed form has been submitted, the Library Director will confer with the Board Of Trustees, & will conduct a thorough review of the item in question, & will make an informed decision whether or not to remove the item from the collection.
