Cal State East Bay (CSUEB) Learning-Aligned Employment Program (LAEP) External Employer Interest Form

Thank you for your interest to participate in the Cal State East Bay Learning-Aligned Employment Program (LAEP). To be an eligible LAEP employer and hire student interns, you need to complete the following:

(1) Employer Interest Application (this form)
(2) Sign LAEP Employer Agreement and complete the Vendor Data Record form (sent via email through AdobeSign after completing this form )

(3) Complete the Request to Initiate Partnership in CalStateS4 to register as a site/department for student academic credit (complete after signing LAEP Employer Agreement)
(4) Post detailed Job Description(s) for each student position on Handshake (complete after signing LAEP Employer Agreement)(5) Submit an Addendum for Student Participation (sent via email through AdobeSign after student intern identified) 

After submitting this form, the Cal State East Bay Internships Coordinator will contact you to provide important eligibility information and next steps. 

NOTE: All employers will need to submit a copy of their Certificate of Insurance. This is collected when completing the LAEP Employer Agreement.

Public school operated by a school district, county superintendent of schools, the Department of the Youth Authority, or the Department of Education - The LAEP may provide no more than 90% of the student’s compensation.

Nonprofit nonsectarian, nonpolitical organization or corporation licensed to conduct business in California - The LAEP may provide no more than 90% of the student’s compensation.

For-profit nonsectarian, nonpolitical organization or corporation licensed to conduct business in California - The LAEP may provide no more than 50% of the student’s compensation.
