Student Survey on ESSER funds
Thank you for taking the time to work on this!

What are the ESSER funds?

The American Rescue Plan (ARP), a $1.9 trillion COVID-19 stimulus bill, was signed into law by President Biden on March 11, 2021. ARP, also known as ESSER III, provides $170 billion nationwide to help K-12 schools and institutions of higher education reopen safely for in-person learning and address students’ needs.

ESSER stands for Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief. Over the next few years, Minneapolis will be receiving nearly $250 million dollars in funding. 20% of the funds need to be used to address learning loss due to COVID-19.

This is an unprecedented opportunity to invest in student's education. How would you like to see this money used in MPS schools?
