Hello, my name is Roxanne Padilla and you have expressed an interest in participating in a study on dementia caregiver burden. The purpose of this study is to examine the experience of burden by family caregivers of persons with dementia (PwD) and how social supports and coping strategies impact their experience of burden. Your participation in this survey is voluntary and your responses will remain completely anonymous. You may choose to drop out of the study or skip a survey question at any time without penalty. Once the data is collected, it will be presented at the annual Hawaii Pacific University Capstone Symposium. This survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and there are no consequences if you decide to withdraw at any time. You are encouraged to provide this survey to other family members who are caring for your loved one as well.
